Love Letters To Janes World by Paige BraddockLove Letters To Jane’s World by Paige Braddock is a delightful collection of the long running comic series. This means that you get the best strips all together in one epic (at about 300 pages) book. And when a comic has been running for 20 years then you know that you are going to get some awesome content.

Join Jane, the lesbian geeky heroine of the strip and her motley crew of friends and frienemies as Jane embarks on the quest to find love and have tons of fun.

Bragging Rights

Jane Wyatt first appeared in Paige Braddock’s comics strip 20 years ago and it was the first syndicated comic strip with a lesbian main character to appear in major newspaper markets

It was also nominate for an Eisner award which is often referred to as the comic book equivalent of the Academy Awards.

The Pros

I adore that there are notes from Braddock and fan mail included in the book. I loved reading some of the things that people had to say about it and the impact it made in the world.

The Cons

For consumers of traditional ebooks this one is steep in price. But if you consider that 20 years of work went into it then it’s not really.

The Conclusion

It’s a fun read and if you are anything like me you will want to take your time and read one or two strips a day to get your daily Jane fix.

For fans of the Jane’s World novel this is a must-read and for people who are looking for a lesbian comic book that is fun and light, then this is it.
